main movie in dvd rebuilder

i always use dvd shrink...but i want to try this program on large movies that are over 2.5 hours long,is ther a option for just the main movie?and can i burn the final movie with image burn?

You could use RipIt4Me and Select Movie only.When that's done then you could use your ripped movie on DVD Rebuilder.I am not sure if the free version of DVDRB lets you select output to ISO file if not you could always use build mode feature in imgburn Hope this helps

on average let say a 2 hour movie how much longer to encode then shrink? shrink now takes 20 min for analysing then 20 min to encode......i have 512 of ram..thanks

Depends on your CPU and the encoder you use and the quality your select. If you use HCEnc, a very good and popular free encoder, it would take a few hours to encode (based on your average shrinking of 40 minutes).

Cannot compare shrink with DVD-RB, both are leader in their category, but both categories are different. DVD-RB re-encodes everything whereas Shrink just removes the video frames to achieve that fit.

fortunately this is NOT the way shrink works
no frames are being removed, but some frames are being transcoded

and btw dvd rebuilder has this option: main movie only

Slip of fingers in my hurry. Okay, i'll reword that properly, it removes bits from some of the video frames to achieve that fit.
