I went back and looked at the first DVD's I made with Shrink (2004). At the time the best setting was DA as AEC wasn't in the version I used. The quality was not the best as they were shrink to about 55% and they were action sports DVD's. I don't know if the Maxell (Japan) DVD's RITEK are failing but they look poor with halows around the figures and "pumping" for 2 hrs.
DVD-RB and HCenc is the way to go with high compression. Just whish I had herd of DVD-RB at the time. Your write some pretty nice software. If I had the time I would redo them, but don't have much interest in watching them now.
