Hi VDC,
What is wrong with that Subtitle ... it looks good better than the ugly yellow.
Anyway, I don't mess-around with subtitles ... but a long time ago I used this program and it seems to work ... I am not sure if it handles AVI ... but will work with DVD Format just fine.
Post back your results for the next person!

HI VDC,
Q: Was your Original SRT looking like what I see in your posted picture? Or looks like this after Conversion?
OK ... I have another program for you ... "Jubler 4.0"
But it needs MPlayer ... get it from here ...
Please post back your result.

Once converted into DVD form, use DVDSubEdit, as suggested. Contrary to what you may think, it is extremely powerful.
You can also play around with the CLUT to get the colours right. Either DVDSubEdit or PgcEdit will do the job.
If you wish to change the font, you can load the SRT into Subtitle Creator and save as SUP in a different font and remux. But that font looks fine.

What's wrong with your subtitle?
In fact, the converted file mostly depends on the source file.
Sometimes MPEG video format would be much better compatible with DVD, so then you can use a video converter to convert the AVI to MPEG video format first, then you can record it to DVD.Comment

Jubler is an editor for text based subtitles. So ,it cannot modify subs in a DVD, which are image based.
DVD Format doesn't have 10MB ^^!Last edited by vdc; 29 Mar 2009, 01:01 AM.Comment

Hi VDC,
Option 1) Install VirtualDub ... the latest and Open your AVI in it and then Pick a 10MB chunk of that and upload per Paglamon's request.
Option 2) and probably easier for you ... install AVIDemux and use that to chop up 10MB from your AVI and post.
