VCD playback

Why when I burn a VCD and play it my standalone DVD it plays,stops,plays,stops all through the video.It plays perfect in my PC DVD player.How do I fix this?

1. Not every stand alone DVD player can play self-made VCDs. It depends the hardware or may be the firmware.
2. If you burn or copy a VCD. Try to use a low speed like 8x or less. Do some experiments to find out the right speed.
3. Use really good brands of CD-R.
