    Upside Down

    Ok I finally made my second VCD, but the movie plays upside down. Ummm...I used Nero to make it but earlier I made one and it came out perfectly. The first one was in mpeg1 format and the second was avi file so any info as to how I can watch the movie sitting up cuz my neck started hurting after 30 minutes of laying on the couch.

    Did the original .AVI play upside down, or did this FIRST occur with the VCD?

      No the original played rightside up, and the first vcd I made was in mpeg format. Or is that the problem, do I have to convert the avi to mpeg (I've had a hard time with that). If that's what I have to do I'm stuck again.

        Use TMPGEnc to make an MPEG1-VideoCD file. Then use NERO to simply burn it (NOT convert - you've already done that in TMPGEnc) as a VideoCD.

        Let us know of your success ;>}

            well I tried to using TMPGEnc to convert but it won't let me, keeps telling me that it "Can't Load P3Package.dll" I don't know what that means.

              You have to download and install the REQUIRED VFAPI companion file...

                Well TMPGenc finally worked for me but when I tried to burn it with Nero all that came up on the VCD was a bunch of folders that were something like this CDI, EXT, MPEGAV, SEGMENT, and VCD. The VCD wouldn't play on dvd player and my computer. The avi is now converted to mpeg and still plays fine but nothing on the VCD. I knew something was wrong when it burned in like thirteen minutes.

                  Sounds like you didn't "drag and drop" the MPEG1-VideoCD file into the proper left-side window while in NERO (has captions such as "Track", "Title", etc.)...

                    Damn it worked! Hey thanks for the help. I finally got TMPGenc to work and now Nero is burning faster(don't know why but I'm happy). The VCD is playing rightside up. One more question. How would I burn avi file that is like 715mb but only 55 minutes? Well its two files that are 715 and both are 55 min long (Blade 2). Cuz I know that if I convert it to MPEG1 the file is gonna be larger. Sorry for too many questions or do I have to start another thread?
