I am making VCD's with Nero. It works great, I don't have a problem with it...my question is: I am making ones with menus, and most of my video clips begin with a blank screen. I've noticed that people who encode music videos and stuff add a little "title screen" to the beginning of their clips. How can I do that? I don't have a problem working with avis or mpegs, so if anyone knows a method which I can use to put a title screen in the first couple frames I would greatly appreciate your help.

If you can create a MPG with your title on it, just use the TMPGenc feature MPEG TOOLS and add your MPG to the beginning of your movie or video clip.
I personally use Flash to create an animation. I then publish in Flash to Quicktime and create a Quicktime file of my Flash animation. I then import this quicktime file into TMPGenc to convert to MPG. I then use MPEG TOOLS within TMPGenc to merge with other MPG files...
