jumpy playback on standalone dvd

I've just baught Pinnacle PCTV Pro -when i burn what i capture it's kind'a jumpy on my standalone DVD-player, but not on my PC.

I've made lots of VCD/SVCD's without this problem but not when capturing with PCTV.

Does anyone know why?

Some dvd standalones dont "like" certain types/brands of media. Try burning on a different brand, or try cd-rw if you must.
Also check www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers to see what media your standalone is known to be able to play.
