    vcd/svcd copies--->bin cue

help i cant figure out what i did wrong.

Im trying to make a copy of a svcd from an svcd alredy on disc.
heres what i did. and i got a coster.

    1. w/ iso buster I extracted the cd content- TREAT as VIDEO only....
    I ended up w/ 2 mpg files.
The second one was the movie and I could play it w/ windvd.

    2. the next thing i did was opened the mpg in vcdeasy and, which is what i usually do to get a bin/cue.
Im not sure what a xml is but in the past I never had a prob.

I usually use the cue/bin and burn w/ fireburner.
Any how in vcd easy I had the svcd circle dotted and i made sure not to put a dot next to detailed bin/cue because because like I said i burn them with fire burner.

3 the next thing i did was load the bin/ cue with fireburner. and burn the disc.
however it does not play in homedvd player or with windvd. so now im stumped.

    what could have went wrong?
    maybe i forgot something?
Ive never made a copy of of an svcd from an svcd . I like to find the easist way to do this.

heres a the cue vcdeasy gave me
    FILE "C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\Desktop\VCDEAS~1.CUE\videocd.bi n" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 00 00:04:00
    INDEX 01 00:06:00
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks for reading

do you think its the filename?
I hate to waste another cdr before i get a second opinion?

The most important thing for .cue sheets is to make sure that the name before the .bin extension (xxxx.bin) is indeed the file name of the bin file, and that the folder (in your case C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\Desktop\VCDEAS~1.CUE\) is truly the one where you have the bin file located.

Have you tried simply DUPLICATING/COPYING the CD? - yes ,hp recordnow, older version of clone cd, end easy cd creator5.. no go

is there burning sofware just for this kind of operation? svcd2svcd 700+mb

I dont know if its the cue or not yet.
but I tried it without the "C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\Desktop\VCDEAS~1.CUE\"
an it still did not work.

I think it could also have something to do w/ how i extracted w isobuster cause there were 2 mpg files when i was done.
the first one was real small and would not open and the second one had the complete movie, or rather disc 1, on it.

I dont know what to do? does anyone know where i can find a tutorial for this kind of operation svcd disc 2 svcd disc?

anyhow heres the log from vcdeasy. i used it to go from mpg I got from isobuster to bin/cue but like I said before i got an xml w/ it to. I dont know what they are. but they never seemed to matter befor when ive used vcdeasy before.

        [Internal Xml Generation]
Internally computed XML generated successfully as "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Desktop\vcdeasy.bin.cue\videocd.xml "

"yes ,hp recordnow, older version of clone cd, end easy cd creator5.. no go "
So youre saying you tried doing a 1:1 copy with clone-cd and easy cd creator5, and they both didn't work? Well, the only other program I would suggest for you to try is Nero Burning Rom. Tell me, at what time do you get the error when is stops copying the cd? (beginning, end, middle...)

"I dont know if its the cue or not yet. "
Well then I think you misunderstood what i was saying about cue's...
The only thing you have to do to make sure if the .cue sheet is the problem or not, do that by checking the exact location where your .bin file is located, and see if it matches with the one indicated on your cue sheet (which was C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\Desktop\VCDEAS~1.CUE\videocd.bin as you pointed out before).AND the name of the bin file must also match.
