i dont know if this is a common problem or not i started out in the same boat im in right now. i can not get the capured video to fit in the play screen. regardless if i have fit window or 1x set. as a result of this the video captured is glitchy, slowing, and speeding up at will. earlier today i had it working good. i captured 3 hours of video off of vcr tape and the prosesse worked exelent. the video fit the screen and the video was crisp and clean. i had save those projects and tryed to open them and go from there, but i had the same result slowing and glitch video. so i went on fearther to see if it was the program or the tape i was recording off of. i tried recording the segment i had previously recoreded with sucess, but it come out with the same fustrating results. i have compared settings between sucessful projects and new. i have restarted my system servale times. i have combed the help section witch i my opion is a joke. i have examined the vcr to see if i might have hit a button to change some setting but i have found nothing that whould point to a problem. i have even checked the cable connections. im almost sure it is something simple that is over looked. becuse it worked before. and what cuased the change in the program was a illegal action in windows and it shut the program down. thanks for your time Shrail

downloaing virturaldub was interesting. it had a choice of capture software. i didnt know i had conflicting drivers but that was the problem. in the end i had to uninstall my video card to remove driver linkage. then reinstall wmd capture software and that fixed the problem now win producer works like it is suppose to. full screen. i relized i had a problem when i start to capture with virtualdub and i had the same results. im just glad it had a setting for the capture sofeware or i would still be fighting this darn thing. thanks again ShrailComment
