What is the best way to make an overture, prerfably in Sonic MyDVD, but for any freeware VCD program?(I know about MyDVD not being freeware)

Also, does anyone have a SPECIFIC title of a realtime MPEG-1(VCD Oompliant) program that can capture with WDM (firewire type) drivers? ADVC-100 is the box here.
