Making vcds out of avi files split using AVI splitter

    Hi all,

After using AVI splitter to spilt a movie, Nero does not seem to recgonise it. As such, I can't seem to burn to split file in vcd format.

I have tried using virtual dub too.. After splitting, it is regonised by Nero. Unfortunately, the split file has a audio , video mismatch problem. I have read a tutorial on how to 'synch audio' but that doesn't seem to correct the problem.

Would appreciate if anyone could enlighten me/offer any solutions..

    Thanks alot!

Use TMPGenc to convert the movie to a (s)vcd before burning with nero.
Did you know you can SEARCH the forum? Fixes common problems too:

Also search on the whole Digital-Digest website:

      Hihi,

      thanks for your help

However, i have a slight problem now
I encoded my file using TMPgenc.
No problems encoding but when i play it back after encoding completes, there is no sound at all.
      Is this normal?
i mean will the sound return after i burnt it into vcd format?

      P.S:
I did extract the audio to a wav using Virtual Dub
and put it as the audio source.
And after my vcd was burnt, there was sound,
but it had a synch problem again... sigh
