Vcd Question - Second cd of 2, two files..

Ok if i've already encoded the movie over two cd's, and the second is about 200 megs, I've forgotten the alternate ending which I do want..

If I encode those appropriate vobs into a third mpeg, and burn it onto the second cd (nero) along with the second half of the full movie, will it work ok - will it play ok, will the dvd standalone player read the right file, will it play the second file (alt end)??

ps the dvd does play vcd's fine..

Yea it should work fine. Ive made them with Nero and all you have to do is just drop all the vids in. It kind of creates chapters with the different files but there is a small delay between them.

Deus!!! It works - so that's how you get chapters in vcd...

Just encode the vobs by chapters in dvdx 2.2, output multiple mpeg files, and burn them in nero with a 1 second gap..
