svcd and sub

hi all,
can somebody help me?i am trying to make a svcd from avi file.thats ok.but i want to insert subtitles into the svcd.the sub are in micro dvd format?how can i do this?is this possible?

Load the .AVI and subtitle file (may have to be converted using the freestanding VobSub PROGRAM) into VirtualDub plus the VobSub plugin (different than the VObSub PROGRAM). Svae with aa new filename. You will now have an .AVI with permanent subtitles...

ok.but i cant load sub file into virtual dub.i have now the VObSub PROGRAM .i made a mixed the avi file and the sub file but when i loaded it into virtual dub is without subtitles.why?where is the problem?
