making SVCD from tv card....

i got tv card in my computer (i can see tv in my computer) and i want to record something from the tv card to my computer and i want it to be an svcd file...
do you know any good software to do svcd from my tv card??

Your card should have come with a DVR program. These programs allow you to select the size and quality of your recordings...which helps determine what format the video will be...MPEG 1 or 2. If the card didn't come with such a program, I'd suggest you try WinDVR. Good luck.

Try This

I use a wintv card and I use either virtual dub, or ulead movie factory for the recording. I then use eitehr ulead movie factory or tmpgenc for the converting. I have transfered all my home videos to either vcd or svcd. Turned out great. you can find guides for this here.
