I am new to the DVD-rip/VCD burning world and I would like someone to help me.
My friend suggested using Smartripper, but I tried a little bit and I am more than lost. I can choose what I want to rip, select the target, and start ripping, but the progress bar does nothing. Does this just take a god-awful long time, or is there something wrong? Should I try a different program or programs?
Once I can rip the video, I can encode it with the latest Divx (still a little new to that as well), burn it to CD, and play in my DVD player, so I am really looking forward to figuring this stuff out!
