    Problem with VCD

I had a Sony DVP F11. Although it was not supposed to be able to play cdr...it somehow did play some of my cdr. The player was later stolen. Recently, I bought a replacement, same model, but it doesn't play cdr anymore...like it used to.

What I want to know is:

    1. Is it the player?
    2. Is it the type of cdr used?
    3. Is it the recording speed / recorder brand?
    4. Is it the authoring method?

    Please help !!

    Hi, and welcome.

    1. ?

    2. It will only play CDRW

    3. Lower the better. Most seem to play fine.

    4. There are many. Have a look at the guides

Also, ahve a look here for more info on your player

I know about all the different authoring methods and software used. I currently use Nero.

Would that be the best one to use?

What makes Nero different from other authoring softwares?
