How can I copy a vcd(cd-r) to cd-r?Nero?

Just want to create a copy of my svcd with nero but no success.

If you only have one CD drive (a burner and no separate CD reader), copy the "AVSEQ01.MPG" file to your hard drive. Then set NERO to the "SuperVideoCD" mode and drag and drop the "AVSEQ01.MPG" into the lower left-hand window. Then burn...

I have made an aweful svcd copy using cd copy on nero (good sound, video hesitates). What dvd2svcd produced files do I need to keep if I want to use the cue/burn image method?...how do you back up svcds?
