    burn svcd to cd-rw using tmpgenc

    is it possible to burn svcd to cd-rw using tmpgenc. in the wizard tmpgenc only states cd-r?

    TMPGEnc doesn't burn anything. It converts the format of the video, and then you have to create the VCD from that using VCDEasy. This will create BIN/CUE, which you can burn with either VCDEasy or Alcohol 120% (or any image burning program, ubt don't use Nero for VCD/SVCD)

      why shouldnt I use nero? that was what I was planning to use!

        If you've already CREATED your SVCD file using TMPGEnc, there is nothing wrong with using NERO ("SuperVideoCD" icon) to simply BURN (NOT convert to SVCD, since you've already done this) your CD.


        I'm sure the point " thejake420" was trying to make is, don't use NERO to CREATE your SVCD file - because NERO's code for performing the conversion process is flawed...
