    Poor Video quality after burning

I loaded digital video from a Sony DV27 camcoder via firewire to computer into PIXELA . Quality is perfect ,just as when viewed direct from camcoder to TV.

However when I burn it to VCD using Nero Express and EXTERNAL CD-RWC the quality when showed on TV is poor. Sound good, but images full of lines. Must say that still images seems fine.

If anyone can give advice. Almost a nutcase after a week.
    Thanks , thanks , thanks .

it seems that nero vision had some problems creating
a good vcd compatible movie out of your source.

since you have posted almost no information on the source movie
it is hard to determine why.....

I still like to suggest that you either update your nero to the latest version...of 5.xxx if you are using the normal nero edition
and 6.xx if you use the nero ultra edition
(since there were a lot of bugfixes.)

    nero homepage

I also want to lead your attention to the Tmpeg encoder
which is also capable to create very good movies for the use on
VCD, SVCD and DVD . The quality is even better!!!

    good luck
the encoder can be found here:

it is a fully working version for VCD and the mpeg2 encoding
(SVCD, DVD) is limited to a 30 days trial period.

Thanks for the advice. I am trying to figure the new program out but so far I still have a problem with the lines on the image. Verticle lines only after burning.
