    The Best Way to VCD..?

    Is the best way to make a VCD from a DVD to VCD is with DVDx?

      Whoa, it comes out in PRETTY bad quality, and a bunch of errors too.

      If I were to make a VCD from ripping from a DVD, should I convert it to DivX, then to VCD using Neros built in VCD converter?

          No, the best is using DVD2SVCD with TMPGEnc (or CCE).

          Don't convert in divx (AVI2VCD will create a fictif avi in DVD2SVCD).

              IN no way, shape or form do I have anything to do with the company of the program that I did use. It is called EazyVCD and is a all in one software program. It is basicaly a GUI for several of the better freeware programs used to make VCD's. I know I for one used it to get started, and then little by little experimented with the individual programs by themselves. It incorporates DVD2AVI, along with TMPGEnc ( Freeware for VCD ), Bitsweet, and I believe VCDimage.

              Free is Good, and the results were too
