    Nero stretching vcd

When i burn a vcd with nero it stretches my video is there any way to stop this. I tried to encode the video with TMPGenc plus 2.5 and i can get the video to stop stretching but i lose sound. Is there any way that I can get nero to encode the video without stretching it.

    1) Load the video file into VirtualDub (or one of its many variants) or NanDub

    2) From the "File" dropdown menu, select "File Information"

    3) Post (here) EVERYTHING you see (BOTH video and audio information), or post a screen capture .jpg of the information box

Your video contains a Variable Bitrate ("VBR") .MP3 audiostream, which TMPGEnc cannot process. Do the following, using VirtualDubMOD to Convert "VBR" .MP3 to Uncompressed .WAV:

        1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDubMOD (a different program than the standard VirtualDub)

        2) From the "Video" dropdown menu, select "Direct Stream Copy"

        3) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream List" - and rightclick on the audio stream, then select "Full Processing Mode" - then click on "OK"

        4) Save with a new filename

TMPGEnc should "happily" accept this new file (both video and audio) for processing...

Sometimes VirtualDubMod blocks and does not finish (in my expirience asurely) when doing full procesing of the VBR mp3 audio.

          If * then begin

          1) Load the .AVI file into VirtualDubMOD.

          2) From the "Streams" dropdown menu, select "Stream List"

          3) Push the demux button and save the .mp3 file.

          4) Open the .mp3 in any program that is capable of VBR encoded files like: WinAmp (disk write plug-in), CDex 1.4 or so and convert it to PCM .wav file.

If the .wav file is not a 44100Hz 16bit Stereo PCM, open a simple .avi file in VDubMod and disable it's audio stream in Streams.
Press add (to add a new stream, and add your .wav file) then full process it with VDUbMod to make it 44.1KHz 16bit stereo HQ.

          Working...
