    Nero 5.5+

Nero argues that my files are not VCD spec.
All is as it should be, but at the end it says that there is something in the stream, maybe the header or so.

I always encode audio first, video later. Well since they invented VBR mp3s and then do simple multiplex with TMPGEnc.
I don't give a peny what Nero argues about but it purposely does not recognize the file as VCD system, so the files of about 70mins won't fit on 1 disc. If i alow Nero to re-encode the file, then it writes the disk as real VCD, so it fits on a the CD.

What other programs are there for multiplexing .m1v or .mpv + .mpa to make a decent .mpg VCD file.

Accept the option to burn it as a "non-compliant" VCD...

      In that case, 70+ min video mpeg1 23.975fps 352x240 1150kbps 224kbps won't fit on 1 CD. It has more than 700MB.
70min mpeg1 file should fit on 650MB CD.

If i alow Nero to re-encode, it automticly shows that the movie fits on 1 CD and there is some free space left. but i am not willing to make the quality worst, not to say that i will have to wait additional hours for Nero re-encoding.

Is MainConcept able to multiplex and demultiplex?
