    Copying an SVCD disk

This shouldn't be that hard, but I'm having a terrible time just making a copy of an SVCD disk I have.

I've tried CloneCD, Nero and Adaptec's programs (any of which can copy a "normal" CD for me just fine) but I'm making no progress with any of these programs and my (pretty) standard HP 8200 CDR (although it does use USB rather than IDE -- could that be my problem?).

Any ideas about software and/or settings to try would be greatly appreciated (oh -- Nero doesn't even *recognize* my CDR -- probably because it's a USB port and not SCSI or IDE).

Is this SVCD recognized by your computer? Does it play on your computer? Does it play on a standalone DVD player?

Thanks, setarip, for replying. As it turns out, I *was* able to copy the VSCD by using another machine with a SCSI CDR. I think the biggest problem I had was with USB -- most of the clone software doesn't deal with this interface well.

(And for the benefit of others -- the SVCD did play on my USB CDR).
