    Vcd + Exe ???

    Hi,

I´m trying to make a VDC that can play in DVD and i want to put some files to be read from computer.
I have created the VCD with Ulead MovieFactory.
If I burn the VCD files only, the DVD can read it with no problems... but, if I put any other file (as word document) in this CD, the DVD can´t read anymore.

    What I´m doing wrong??

    Sorry for my bad english.

What you're doing wrong is combining both things on the same cd.

Create the VCD and leave it at that. If all you want to put on a cd is a word document, have you thought of using a floppy?

Ok ... let me try again.

I want to put "some" files ... 3 files to say the true.

A word document, one Autorun and another multimídia executable created with Director.

I know that is possible, because if I create the VCD with Nero, I can put this files together.

I do it last night and work fine!

But Nero can´t create a good VCD (with good menu and transitions) like Ulead can do! Because this, I want to put this files manualy.

Well, is this... I have one Ulead VCD project ... one VCD working fine in DVD player ... and one multimidia project that I want to put together.

      Another ideas?

I understand what you're saying, and it will WORK and BURN fine, however it will probably only work on your pc, and not on the dvd player because the executable might not be recognized by the dvd, and give you a "no disc" error or similar.
