There are several ways you can do this, depending on the software you have. I use either CoolEditPro, which allows you to extract audio from a video file, or TMPGEnc, which allows you to "demux" (separate the audio from video) the video file. In either case, you will end up with separate audio file for the entire video. You can then use an audio editing program to modify it, if that is what you are interested in. CoolEditPro is good for that, too, although you can use others, I believe, such as Headac3he. I'm sure other members will offer their methods, since there many.
