I would love to understand better the VCD stuff... I converted the divx to vcd using cucusoft mpeg/avi to dvd/vcd/svcd/mpeg but, as all the programs I tested, I don't have control over the quality. I have some vcd's where the full movie is compressed into a cd, with poor quality; but some others are in 2 vcd's with much better quality. How do you explain this, if the vcd is a standard with a standard duration time per vcd, or am I wrong? Should I then cut the movie into pieces into 2 parts if I want better quality? but where do I set the quality of each part when converting into vcd? TIA!
