    Converting VCD to DVD

I'm a newbee here. Has anyone tried burning a VCD (2 CD discs) to a DVD? Can anyone share how to? I've tons of VCDs that I'd like to convert to DVDs (quality, storage). Appreciate your time.

Get DVDLab. Fully functional 30 day demo.
Import your VCD's directly (the .dat files).
    Reauthor with a menu.
    Compile, burn.
    No re-encoding needed.
This will play on most players with no trouble.
Guide to multiple (S)VCD on DVD is in my sig below.
If you have trouble importing the .dat files, get ISOBuster, and rip the mpeg from the .dat then import into dvdlab.

DVDLab works on all Windows platforms.

All you need are the AVSEQ01.DAT files. Those are the actual mpeg movie. You can actually rename them to AVSEQ01.mpg and they will play in most players.

            reboot,
I've installed DVDLab, and was following your user guide for beginners, but cannot import the video. it's looking for any files with extension .vob, .vro, .mpa, .ac3, mp2, .m2a, .dts, .wav. i tried renaming AVSEQ01.dat to .mpg and .mpa, but the program cannot read it. The DEMUX screen does not come up. Any suggestions?

Get VCDGear (it's free). Extract .dat to .mpg with it, then import the mpeg into dvdlab.
Sorry, I forgot that dvdlab won't take .dat's
