I need some advice please

Ok heres the deal. Im going to make a cd to play on my dvd. I have a divx cartoon that is 45 minutes and 27 seconds long. The size of it is 256 mb. The quality is good and the picture looks good when in full screen with just a little bit of macroblocks. Im going to use TMpgenc 2.02 and an 80 minute cdr; should i make an xvcd with a higher bitrate about 2500 or should i just make a super vcd. Also should i use the soften block noise option to limit the macroblocks or will using a higher bitrate help solve that problem? Any suggestion would surely be apreciated.

Since you seem to be aware of all the tools and options available to you, why don't you simply experiment with a small portion of the video and make your own subjective determination as to what YOU find most acceptable - rather than seek opinions (which is all that would actually be offered)?
