Just a little subtitlequestion

Hi!
I never tried this with subtitling before and now that I just started I got a lot of questions...

First if I download a .srt file for a movie, how can I check what framerate it is made from and how can I convert it if it's wrong??

I'm sure this is a very easy question once you got started...

I don't know where you get your movies: DVD, Kazaa, Morpheus??
But if you would use DVD's, I don't suggest you download subtitles and stuff. Then you van just use Flask, select a subtitle language and convert the DVD to VCD with subtitles what is very easy.
Otherwise I can't help you bacause I don't have experience with srt-files and stuff. I once got started with I think it sucks because I need Dutch subs and I don't find them for my movies.
