i have just started to try DVDx
the mpgs created with it work fine on my pc and the conversion from mpg to svcd or vcd work on my pc also however my problem is when i put the svcd or vcd into my dvd player the sound is stuttery not sure why this is happening the dvd player is working for all other vcd svcd and dvd can anyone give me some ideas that will fix this

If you're creating the VCDs and SVCDs with audio at 48,000Khz, this could be the source of your problem. Try setting audio to 44,100Khz.

i found a fix by looking at the show info menu in power dvd i noticed that the video is in mpg1 format but the sound is in mpg2 format.

The solution i used is to open nero to burn as a svcd and remove the tick from the create standard compliant cd box and then burn as normal svcd, this creates an svcd1 cd wich does not have the stutery sound.
