    Newb VCD "?"

    Hey, lets say hypothetically, i downloaded a file named
    xxxxxxx.vcd.cd1.mpg and a
    xxxxxxx.vcd.cd2.mpg file

    Can i just burn these files to CDR using VCD burning format (in nero) and will it work as a real VCD would? or am I missing stuff.
    If im wrong or close, can ya please list the directions i should follow

    Probably...

    (If your standalone player recognizes the brand of CD-R that you burn them on)

      Yeh, I think my standalone player does read CDR's, my only real concern was if I could burn VCD's other ppl made, i guess i was expecting more work on my behalf to be involved but it appears not.

      Thanx. If anyone else has further comments, im all ears

        My pleasure ;>}

        It's not a question of whether your standalone recognizes CD-Rs in general, it's a question of whether it recognizes the PARTICULAR BRAND of CD-R that you use...
