    Help please with Nero Menus

Is anyone using the thumbnail menu option in Nero with TmpgEnc mpg's created from NTSC AVI's?

Nero does a perfect job just less than 50% of the time. 100% of the time the movies are perfect BUT upon hitting "play" on the Pioneer DVD changer remote its 'touch and go' for the menu to pop up, although I can ALWAYS get to the menus on discs that don't initially pop up by hitting a numeric touchpad to start one of the movies that are on the CD-R and then hit "return" on the remote. Voila'

Anyone out there that can help make it right 100% of the time?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ron

are you sure that the menu screen is set to "infinite?"
if you dont know how to check this....after you drag your first
mpeg into the screen on the left..right click on "menu" just above the first mpeg and click"properties"..make sure it says pause after track="infinite".i hope i understood your question.

DVD player Pioneer DV-444 and SVCD

I have a question about SCVD encoding with Nero and the unpossibility to read the disk at a particular time of the film. I.E. : "search 0:12:30". It's said that this is not available under PBC (Play Back Control) mode and that one must disable PCB mode (no menu) : track mode.
I haven't checked enable menu" in the setting of compilation, so I thought it could search on time base.
What have I to do for that?
The player seems to consider that it's a PBC SVCD even if there is no menu...

        Sorry for my bad english

Sorry I can't help you from the benifit of experience but try removing or deleting the "scandata.txt" file in your SVCD's Nero subdirectory when creating your SVCD's.
