svcd or vcd burned onto dvd-r?

Can this be done, Can you burn a svcd or vcd image onto a dvd-r and still have it play on a dvd settop player? Wouldn't it be great to have like 3 or 4 movies on one disk...

It should work. it'll play like a vcd but if its a dual layered disc, it'll be read like a dvd disc should.

you should waste a $9 cd and let us know
