From Divx-4 to vcd with Nero 5.5.7.6

After about 8 hours of incoding the Movie did not fit on one cd. How do I write one movie on more than one disk with the above mentioned software? The cd must be viewed on a DVD player in a vcd format.

Please advise...

First split the DivX-compressed .AVI file, using VirtualDub or NanDub. Make certain to set both "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copying"...

VCD probs

After about 8 hours of incoding the Movie did not fit on one cd

try this mate...rip the original vob files, with smart ripper.
join them together so you have say 2, 2-3gig files then with these two files re-encode seperatley with flask as a direct VCD mpeg1 compatible etc... now after you have finished use nero to burn
you should have avery good copy of whatever dvd your trying to rip, i now use this method for all my VCD copy as im fed up with divx this and that crashing and all sorts of shit...and setarip are you still giving the same advice, lets all try xvid and see hoe far we get with that...oh the pain
