well i usually try the fiel before i burn it and see if the audio i sin sync. But before i got the new cd-rw drive i had a 4 x taht i burned about 250 discs with. Then i got the 24x and started burning at 20x. The very first 100 ( Fuji cds, burned at 4x ) still work like they did when they were recorded, so do a few Memorex cd-rs i had at that time. Some smartbuy brand i got, some were burned at 4x some at 20x. thay were bad cds. but i also got some errors on some name brand cds that were burned at 20x. Well the ones that were burned at less than 8x are still good after 9 months. Some that were burned at 20x, 24x, 16x. i've had a few problems with.
