    Help with VCD ratio problem

    Hi people thanks for reading.....
Whenever I burn my divx files into vcd's using nero, the aspect ratio is all off.... the screen is all stretched out..and I searched nero for options on how to change it, but I couldn't find any. Does anyone know how to fix this problem and set it to a different ratio for my tV?

Use TMPGEnc to create the MPEG-VideoCD file and use NERO ONLY to burn as VCD (NOT to create the file)...

I have the same problem with Nero changing the aspect ratio and I already use TMPGEnc to convert AVI's to MPEG-2 MPG files. The files output from TMPGEnc are fine, but once burnt onto VCD or even SVCD the display is squashed in at the sides and stretched top to bottom to fill a 4:3 screen.

With TMPGEnc, MPEG setting, advanced tab

              Source aspect ratio: 1:1 (VGA)

Video arrange method: Full screen (keep aspect ratio)

              352x240

                To cheeth

"I already use TMPGEnc to convert AVI's to MPEG-2 MPG files"

Use TMPGEnc to convert to either "MPEG1-VideoCD" or "MPEG2-SuperVideoCD" - and use NERO ONLY to burn (NOT create and burn) either VCD or SVCD...
