There's an anime that i want to watch on my PC but it has some sort of "block". My PC registers the contents of the VCD in CDA format (my CD player program keeps running everytime i put it in my cd-drive), but if I use my cousin's VCD player, it runs it as a VCD. If anyone can help me, please do! (If it'll help, the series is "Happy Lesson" and "Sister Princess" by Bao Anime.) Oh, also, I tried cd-to-cd copying, it hung my computer 17 times....
A VCD in CDA format?

cda is a fake audio file usually PCM or Wave
used on music cds to prevent piracy (not to successful)
it just tells the cdplayer where to find the real file
the only thing it prevents is drag and drop
if you are having to many problems
extract~>reencode~>mux
use mpeg2 audio complient software.
i believe nandub or vdub should do it.Last edited by xviddivxoggmp3; 27 Jul 2002, 12:28 PM.no life just digital
