What resolution should I decode in?

I'm new to making VCD's and am having problems. I'm using Smartripper, DVDx, and VCDEasy. The problem is when I try to load my .mpg file into VCDEasy I get an error saying "352x288 is not a valid resolution for NTSC encoded sequence". Then what would be the correct resolution?

Also if the above programs suck please tell me what everyone is using for this process. Thanks

to convert DVD to VCD i use DVD Decrypter, FlaskMPEG v0.594 with Panasonic MPEG-1 plugin v2.51(not sure about the version number there, but the latest version). This gives "great" quality for both PAL and NTSC
The Panasonic plugin is rather slow, but it gives the best quality i think...
