Nero "DELAY" error

I dl'd the demo copy of Nero and wanted to create a VCD. I wanted to try and add a menu to the VCD. I created the menu and then I added one track of video to the VCD and Nero gave me an error message that said "Delay" and then Nero shut down. Can anyone help me, because I dont want to pay for the software if I get an error making a menu.

I believe you must FIRST select your video files and THEN create your menu...
