How to make VCD with DVD2SVCD?

How do you make a VCD or even better XVCD instead of a SVCD in DVD2SVCD. My DVD player doesn't play SVCD's. Thanks

If you want a true vcd using dvd2svcd, simply go to the conversion tab (or is it the misc tab, can't remember) and select the load settings button. You will find a default vcd and svcd template in the dvd2svcd directory.

But check out this thread. It discusses how to make a svcd but fool you dvd player into thinking it is a vcd. It has worked for many people.
