Jerky movie after Cut/Merge in TMPGenc

    Hi all,

I used the Cut feature in TMPGenc to cut an hour of mpg movie to 7 pieces. then shortened some of them. Merged the 7 pieces together to one piece and burn a VCD with Nero.

I noticed that the movie is not so smooth anymore as it was before the cutting and merge handling!!!! I have maken a comparison between a VCD burned from a 'raw' mpg movie (encoded from avi by TMPGenc, no treatment applied ) , and the mentioned '7-pieces-to-one' mpg movie. The latter one is a little 'jerky', looks like some frames are missing or there are steps among, specially easy to be seen in a scene with (fast) movements. For the audience is this very annoying and make them dizzy...

    Anyone has a solution, please?

Try using an older version 1.2xx of TMPGEnc. If your desired cuts are not on exactly the correct frame, it will "let you know" (by generating an information-only error message)...
