sync problem with TMPEG!

I have a problem with TMPEG. I use the TMPEG tools to cut some of my MPEGs. After cutting the MPEG it is out of sync. It will play for a second with no sound and then sound starts. The sound sync is off by a second through out the movie. It dose this with all my MPEGs. A month ago I was able cut MPEG just fine with TMPEG.

Can anyone help me?

Or dose someone know of a good (Free) MPEG cut/join program?

maybe this might work

Under the 'Source range' in 'Setting' in TMPGenc there is an Audio synching box where you can adjust the sound track. Haven't had to use it yet but may solve your prob.
