    Splitting MPEG?

Is there a way to split an MPEG file so that you can make it fit onto two CD's?

VirtualDub wont have any of it. Something to do with the sound compression on the .avi

I tried to split it with TMPEG and got no sound.

    -scratches her head-

Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Is it a MPG or a MPEG file? TMPGenc has no problem with MPG cutting/joining. So if you want to split it, first convert it to MPG. If you get no sound, first save the audio stream into another format. (Try virtual dub, if this doesn't work, try goldwave) Now convert the movie using your saved file as the audio stream. What you get is the whole movie (with sound) in mpg format. It won't be hard splitting it with TMPGenc. GL.
