    Sound delay

After encoding a movie I noticed a delay of sound in the created .MPG file. So I encoded the movie again but now with the audio stream first converted to a wav file. Still the delay came back in the new .mpg file. The strange thing is, at the beginning of the movie, the audio is synchronic but it gets less and less further in the movie, so basically in the end, people are talking and you hear them about a second later. Anybody familiar with this problem???

I get that every now and then also. Don't know why. I do have a good manual on how to fix it though but you have to have soundforge. If you want the procedures, let me know.

I'd like your manual yes. This problem has only showed up since I use another codec. (The old codec has no problems with the delay but did had some other problems)

I've got the some problem, and i noticed it only hapens when i convert DivX movies to SVCD where the divx audio track has been encoded with variable bit rate.

Can any of you tell me how to work this thing out?
