Real Player files to Mpeg??? RmTools??

Hi peeps.somewhat new to the game..this sounds really stupid but .. i don't know what or where to find a conversion tool for real player files to mpeg files... please help....thank you... if you can be detailed it would be great. i need help with following instructions too..but thats another story

go to divx digest and get tinga to decode rms to avi once you get the in avi forms vdub to recompress the files that are uncompressed ! A 1mb file can end up being 30-80 mb .
once in vdub you can get them back to orignal size.
if you recompress set video frame rate it will be different all the time
