I am using Smartripper to rip the DVD. It creates a d2v file for my video and a AC3 file for my audio. Is there a way I can use these two files directly into TMPGenc to encode to MPG (for VCD's)...
The reason I would wanna do this is to save time. I normally use Smartripper to create a my vob files. I then import these vob files into DVD2AVI so that I can create my d2v and wav files. I then import the d2v and wav into TMPGENC to encode to MPG so that I can then use Nero to burn into VCD format... BUT since Smartripper can create a d2v file and also an audio AC3 file, is there a patch or something to let TMPGenc accept the audio AC3 file to avoid using DVD2AVI (it will save me about 1.5 hours)...
Or if anyone has a better way of creating VCD's instead of using SMARTRIPPER, DVD2AVI, and TMPGENC. (This combination I have found to be the better way of creating a DVD to VCD)...
THANKs
