    Why won't TMPGEnc2.0 open D2V file? Help!

Allright, I'm a newbie to dvd converting, and I've spent a week on this and other probs, lol, but I have TMPGEnc 2.0 and after I used dvd2avi to make a wav file and a dv2 file, TMPGEnc won't open it...it says that it cannot open the file and that it is unsupported...I have my new wav file and dv2 file in the same folder as my vob files, also I used clanmdec to rip the dvd, so I don't have an ifo file that I can see....Also why won't my mpeg that I made with FlaskMpeg be in sync.? I mean the a/v sync? this is why I'm trying to use dvd2avi and TMPGEnc to make a vcd...
Any help would be cool...very cool...

make sure you have the vfapi plug in on your puter...open up tmpgenc..click on options..click on environmental settings..see if it has a line named dvd2aviproject file reader..make sure the box is checked..and it should work.

Thanks, John Boy...I didn't have the vfapi plug-in, but I went and got the stand alone vfapi program and I turned the d2v file into an avi and it worked!
Now I have a good(I think)mpeg file to burn, although I just tried to burn it to Nero and Nero wouldn't recognise it, lol(unexpected file format)so now I'm figuring that out...
Thanks for your help, it really helped out

I have the vfapi plugin listed there with a check on it fine. I still get the same problem.
