    Colors too bright, how do I make them dull?

    I have this movie that's not in NTSC colors. I know Photoshop can take a picture and put it in the right colors, but how about a movie? Is there a filter for Premiere or another program that can do it, or do I have to export each from and do it that way?

    Use VirtualDub. You'll first have to install Donald Graft's "Red/Green/Blue" filter or his "Hue/Luminance/Intensity" filter into VirtualDub. You can download them from:

    To install the filters into VirtualDub, you merely put them in a sub-folder named "plugins" inside the VirtualDub folder.

    Whne you run VirtualDub and load in your file, click on the "Video" dropdown menu and click on "Filters". then doubleclick on the filter of your choice.

    Let us know of your success ;>}

      I got the Hue/Luminance/Intensity filter. What settings would be good enough to be close to the orginal movie, but dull enough to play right on TV?

        That's something you'll have to determine for yourself via experimentation. There are too many variables involved (YOUR PC, YOUR TV versus mine and millions of others)...
