Help needed with 2 Different TMPGEnc Errors

    Hi all,
Could someone please help with a few error codes I'm getting using TMPGEnc.
The first one I only get on certain films (e.g. Austin powers, panic room, Collateral Damage, Changing lanes (and more))
The error occurs at different parts of the films and stops encoding.
    ERROR:-
'Read error occured at address 004A2DE1 of module 'TMPGEnc.exe' with 01BA77D8'
The first address is always the same (I think!!), but the second address changes from film to film.

The next error is off my second machine. Now I've never used TMPGEnc on this machine (It's soley for the internet).
I've installed the same version of TMPGEnc on it, but evertime I press start (after loading in the files and settings) I get a Can't load "P3Package.dll" Error.

I've tried loads of avi files using exactly the same settings from my first machine.

    Can someone please help.

    Thanks

    Danny (bashyman)

"The first one I only get on certain films"

If these were videos that you've downloaded from the same source (rather than videos thatyou've created yourself from ripped DVDs), perhaps the problem lies with the source.

Have you played the original downloaded "problem files" all the way through without error?

        Hi Setarip,
Yeah I've played a couple of them all the way through, but not all of them. They've all been downloaded from I-Mesh. I just got the same error trying "Still Smokin". Happened at 71%. Is there a way of resuming from the 71%?

        Cheers mate

Purely as an experiment, load one of the problem files into VirtualDub. Set both "Video" and "Audio" to "Direct Stream Copying". Save with a new filename. Use the new file with TMPGEnc.

          Let us know of your success ;>}

            Hello,

That's what method I've been using.
I load file in VDub. Click past VBR message, Save WAV, Then select no audio, direct stream copy, then save segmented AVI.
Then I load up each file in TMPGEnc.
The settings I use (Which seem to work with all the other films) is
            VIDEO TAB:
            352x240
            4:3 525 Line (NTSC)
            23.976fps
            Automatic VBR
            High quality
            ADVANCED TAB:
            Non interlace
            Bottom field first
            Full screen (keep A.R)
            AUDIO TAB:
            Mpeg-1 Audio Layer II
            44100
            Stereo
            224

If I'm doing something wrong please let me know, I only found these settings from some of your advice (setarip) from previous threads.
The only problem I get is the sound is a bit crap. Just no depth, a bit tinny & scratchy.

            Any help appreciated

            Cheers
