Does anyone have any suggestions as to why Flask0.594 hangs when it is about to encode audio for Shrek. I have successfully created other VCDs by using Nicky's DVD2VCD guide but Shrek has failed twice at the audio part. The video encodes ok. It is a region 2 DVD. I am using an AMD 450.

I use Flask 0.594PX3 and, for the NTSC version of Shrek had no difficulty whatsoever converting to .AVI.
Does the ripped DVD play properly, all the way through? -
i'm having the same problem with this dvd.
i encoded the audio in several steps and pasted it in one piece
in ulead media studio 6.0 and syncted it with the video.
the problem occurs, when the video stream is having
frozen images. i had frozen images in the scene where the
"singing postbox" was given the letter.
when i detect a frozen image, i encode after that point the audio.
sure, u need for this method an video-editing-tool such as mentioned above or you buy the dvd at your local dealer
